Jan 25, 2010 FORMER MINISTRY OF DEFENCE EMPLOYEE IN A SUCCESSFUL CLAIM FOR NOISE INDUCED HEARING LOSS
Mr B of Nottingham worked for the Ministry of Defence for nearly 20 years. He worked at the Dockyard in Chatham, Kent, where he was exposed to excessive noise, whilst employed as an Electrical Fitter.
Mr J of Llanelli, Carmarthenshire, was a former Electrician for the National Coal Board, from 1971 to 1989. He is now 56 years old and suffers with hearing loss, which was caused by exposure to excessive noise at work.

Mrs E wins £2,500 payout
Mrs E wins £2,500 payout after working as a Production Operative at Midland Metal Spinning (also called Tower House Wares) from 1965-1977. This company was based on the Swansea Industrial Estate, Swansea. Mrs E lost some of her hearing due to exposure to loud noise.
